The four-stroke motorcycle Honda CD 70, formerly known as Honda 70, is made by the Japanese firm Honda. Honda produced it from 1970 until 1991, after which Atlas Honda in Pakistan took up production.
In Pakistan, the Honda CD 70 debuted in 1984 and quickly became the market leader. The Vespa, which was the only well-liked two-wheeler at the time, and two-stroke motorcycles were supplanted by the CD 70. The CD 70 gained popularity immediately since it was the first four-stroke motorcycle in Pakistan. It has retained the highest resale value in Pakistan since its inception.
At first, the Honda 70's rectangular speedometer had marks for the gear range and a maximum calibration of 60 mph (97 km/h). Its stated maximum speed was 93 km/h (58 mph). It underwent numerous improvements over time, both to the exterior and the engine. It was given the new name Honda CD 70 in 1984 along with an altered engine, carburetor, and rear indicators.
The Honda 70's engine is currently a certified Euro II engine that performs admirably when properly maintained. Honda has introduced the new Honda CD 70 2023 model, which boasts 101 modifications to the engine and design combined, according to Honda.
